This property consists of a main house on the left hand side looking from the street with what was an attached large shop/unit to the right. This could be split into two further houses (as in the above illustration). The rent from these two houses would then provide a significant income. You could also open a cafe/restaurant in the right end with a door opening out from the gable to an outdoor seating area or alternatively for example an ebike rental shop with accommodation above. There are many many kilometres of relatively flat great condition cycle ways throughout the countryside from the village and around the amazing lakes in the area. There is a direct train from the village to the nearest large town/city Leipzig that runs every hour from early morning to late night. Leipzig is beautiful and it is where Bach spent most of his life. The property is in a sturdy condition throughout. Significant renovation work has already been completed at a cost of around 20,000€ and the main house has been cleared ready for painting. Unfortunately due to a health issue work has currently stopped. I don’t know about primary schools but I do know there is a major secondary school.
The whole property is classed as one building and the property tax is around 35€ per month. The water is currently disconnected but can easily be reconnected again. There is a current charge of around 15€ per month for rainwater management. Electric is currently on and there is a basic 10€ charge on that per month.
